Yes but if you don't have it, don't buy it.. there are usually better units available at around the same price or even less sometimes.

yea but i would get a slightly better psu. the SSR-650m from seasonic is a great PSU and is the one i use

its currently sitting in a box in his room. (some guy at the tech shop tried to sell him some other stuff so he left in a hurry and grabbed a psu in blind panic)

If it's in the return window then give it back and get something with a better set of components inside. If you can, find a laptop in that store and log yourself into the forum and ask around about the PSUs you see

ok i took the psu back, got a coolermaster 700w psu instead. (the guy who worked there started spewing out bs about me needing to buy this and that to externaly mount my psu...)

What Cooler Master specifically? There's many different 700W models.

 

V-Series and Silent Pro Gold are better then CX.

Thunder and Extreme Power Plus are quite a bit worse.
