It will work. GPU upgrade is needed ASAP though.  :lol: For 1080p gaming that is. I would say build this and try to find a used 7870/r9 270.

You could go with some 2400MHz speed ram instead, to get more performance from the APU.

Yeah ik. But its for a casual gamer (not me) so it isn't a big issue.

My parts list is equivalent to a A10-7850K with a upgraded GPU so you might want to consider that.

If you go to a chipset below the a88x you can get a board for 30-40$ that will work fine.

Go with one 8gb stick of 1600mhz ram, 860k, R9 250, for the better upgrade path later on.
