I am just looking around for a gtx 970 in the uk for a good price.

 

I would prefer the MSI build

Palit Jetstream is great. And cheap.

Jetstream 670 was good, dunno where they went wrong.  :lol:

I've found that although the card iteslf can have coil whine, your PSU can also be at fault. My GTX 970 G1 Gaming has coil whine that's louder than the Segate U5 in my rig (I've got it dedicated to a Windows 98SE VM) when ever I use my CX850M, while my VS650 has the 970 running with no coil whine.
