Is anyone else thinking about doing this? I've had 980 SC SLI since September, and I've never been happy with the SLI experience. There are way too many games that take little to no use of it, and fiddling with profiles is always annoying. Then there is the fact that scaling varies throughout the game, so even ones that do take advantage of it don't do so constantly. The fact that I can buy the Gigabyte G1 980 ti and get nearly the same performance without any of the issues and be guaranteed that it will actually be utilized by all games just sounds amazing. Not to mention that there is a bit more VRAM--which isn't really needed, but it's nice to have, of course.

tl;dr Anyone else ready to ditch SLI now?
