So my friend needs an OS for the PC he just built, he has the product key but no CD. So i'm transferring the setup files from the CD to a USB but the only problem is autorun.inf won't copy over. I assume it is important so I need someway around this. After it asks me for admin permission , which I allow, it says "Destination Folder Access Denied" and just leaves me with a Try Again button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :)

It should still boot without autorun.inf, but it won't necessarily co-operate with windows when not in installation. Autorun.inf tells the computer the contents of the drive, the location of the drivers, and what programs to run when it's plugged in (but that feature is now disabled by windows). Without it, windows will appear to detect the memory stick more slowly because it has to search the whole thing for drivers and to research the content, but you don't actually NEED it.
