@TheFinalSoldier

swap your cpu from the 4690k to the 4690, just as fast but without overclocking, because your mobo doesn't support overclocking as well. maybe that will give you some funds for a ssd for the os

Looks pretty good.

Personally I'd scrap the disk drive and I wouldn't go for drives made for surveillance (iirc they have slower read/write speeds, though I might be wrong)

This is pretty much my system, it runs beautifully

Bullshit. HDD's may be slower but they are very, very reliable and still have a place. Besides, SSD's are 10x the price per capacity near enough. I use a 2TB for all my media, a 500GB Velociraptor for my large games/scratchdisk and a 120GB SSD for OS and applications that I need to load quickly.

I ment optical disk drive xD

Get Z97 mobo or you wont be able to oc that cpu

H97 can oc with bios update

i thought my cpu came with a cooler? no.

It does, but not a very good one. Not good enough for ocing

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

This appears to be a pretty solid build. I would, however, consider pairing the 4690k with a Z97 motherboard, considering that it is an overclockable chip. I, personally, would also consider an SSD for overall system response, but it will have no impact on frame rates.

I think he was talking about the cd drive

Hard Drive:

Seagate 3.5" SV ST2000VX000 2TB 7200rpm Surveillance HDD

$99.00

I might be wrong, but this drive isn't supposed to be used for general pc usage or gaming. Not saying it won't work.

Finally got PS4 Pro
