Lol, but there are only like 3-4 places that I know of around me that accept NFC, but I guess it could be worse though :P.

 

Apple pay  (and I think google wallet) uses normal contactless card terminals - a store might not realise it supports NFC payments

US, somewhere in the middle lol. The register above was a joke(even though I know a couple of places that still use them), but most of the pay stations support the swipe card only. It seems like years ago I saw contactless payment options, but those kind of went away :(.

Well the US is backwards as far as payment systems go, and I imagine the middle of the US is even more backwards in this regards, they seem to be slower at getting tech rolled out compared to the coasts

Just move here :D we have NFC payments, Yorkshire tea, and yours truly (probably the main reason to stay in the US)

Well first time I was ordering something only and courier came, I came up with my "signature". Basically it's First letter of my last name and then some wierd L and Y, It's looks totally ridiculous but I use it every day. 

 

I don't know any place where they would check if the signature is still the same. Sometimes when I'm paying with card at shop I have to sign it (it's totally useless and it looks like in '70s) so I just write there random letters, sometimes swear word (coz I hate when I have to sign it :D), nobody cares

I write my name in actual proper signature but it's way too long that I've noticed after countless consent forms. 

 

I might just put something random and inappropriate.
