What mechanical keyboard to get?

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

Oops what I meant to say was. Out of these keyboards which one do you think is better the Cooler Master CM storm QuickFire TK or the Cooler Master CM storm QuickFire rapid?

Hey guys I was just wondering what mechanical keyboard should I get in the price range of $90-130 CAD?

Logitech G710+ has Cherry MX Brown switches (Linus' Favorite), and I believe he uses that keyboard as a daily driver. It's currently 85 USD on Amazon, not sure what the price it is in Canada, but I'm sure it's relatively similar.

Wanted Build: i5 4690K, Z97-A, Vengeance 16GB, Samsung 256GB SSD, 980TI, Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX

Keyboard: Blackwidow Chroma Mouse: G502 Headset: Skullcandy PLYR 2 Phone: Samsung S6 Edge Tablet: iPad 2

You could try something from Cooler Master, such as the quickfire rapid.

Maybe... But I'm going to wait for more suggestions before I choose which keyboard I'd like.

Tesoro Excalibur Spectrum? I use this, the programme is a hassle at first, but once you figure it out, it is quite easy to use. Comes in Blue, Brown and Red switches.

OK, options. Do you want heavy or medium or light in terms of weight.

The switches.

I guess it doesn't really matter just as long as they are either blue, brown or green switches.

I say that because browns are the lightest and greens are the heaviest. I use greens daily and hate browns. So I say this because you will like one and not the other.

OK, anything from Cooler Master at that price should be safe.

Yes. Disregard the negative reviews on the site, as those people got defective ones. My leds are still working fine after 1 month.
