Nexus 4 update to 4.3 need info

Hey all i need to know if to update my nexus 4 from 4.2.2 to 4.3 do i have to flash the whole phone with the image that is being released or can i wait for the system update to detect.  I tried to update under settings but it says its up to date.  I have my Nexus 4 through Koodo didn't directly buy it through google.  If you have to update with the image that is released can anyone link with info on how to do that all i can find is links to the download which i already have and there is no readme in there.  Thanks

You need to flash the google image manually in order to get 4.3 now, By doing this you will wipe out your current phone setup. Image files found here : https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occamjwr66v

 

 

The alternative is to wait until Google makes 4.3 available OTA, this will upgrade you from 4.2.2 without wiping your device.
