I'm thinking about starting a new YouTube channel so I'm looking for a 1080p 60fps camera that is cheap. I would hopefully want one sub-200 dollars and it doesn't have to be to great just something that can shoot 1080p 60fps. Thanks

Sony HDR-CX240 is pretty decent.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W

This is probably one of the better cameras you can find at that price for dedicated video. Its a bit more that your budget, but it has features like a mic input that is pretty crucial for video.

Two points i'd like to make for starting youtube.

-60 fps is bullshit when it comes to cameras. Unless you're doing 1/2 slow mo it's worthless.

-Audio! When it comes to video production it's more important than video

60FPS isn't bullshit, it looks quite a bit smoother than 30fps does, but for a beginner I agree it's not really needed.

Audio is a very important part, but nobody wants to watch something potato quality, imo for a beginner probably 720p 30fps is fine as long as the audio is half decent.

In games, yes 60 fps will look smoother because of how a frame is rendered as a still image. But with videos capture on a shutter there is natural motion blur which more naturally interpreted as smooth motion. As long as you have a 180 degree shutter angle you can get smooth motion.

I can still see quite a difference between 30fps and 60fps in videos that were recorded by a camera, whether it be the camera moving or things in the view of the camera moving, there is still quite a bit of a difference.

Even though I can shoot at 60 I still shoot reviews and normal stuff at 30 unless I am doing half speed slow motion

24/25/30 is what you want for normal stuff, especially if you have any video production and want a filmic/cinematic look and feel - if you are filming action stuff, or live walking around, 60 could be argued for,
