I have a Netgear R6300 Router and the internet shuts off once or twice a day. All of my devices connected to it say that they are connected but the internet doesn't work. The router has an orange light sometimes when this happens. Usually to fix it I unplug the router and/or modem but sometimes it doesn't work.

What error code or name do you get? If its DNS and it keeps reverting to orange then you'll probably gonna need a new router.

I dont get an error or anything cause the light usually stays green. but even if it goes to orange (which it rarely does) i still dont get an error message.

No i have an Ooma phone that connects through the router. The modem connects throught the cable line.

The issue is typically to do with the cable or microfilter.

You can also try messing with the routers settings.
