So i've got the 4690k with the Z97S SLI Krait and was wondering if what i'm getting is normal or a problem?

I've managed to get it stable at 4.4GHz but at 1.3v

This was highest i'm willing to get with voltage due to suggestions around the Internets, however others are getting 4.6 Ghz on 1.22v

Have i just got unlucky with my Processor or i'm i missing some settings on my motherboard stopping me from getting higher speeds.

Kind Regards

Zetsu

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Depends what you changed to get that overclock. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that is all you can get. It really just depends on the chip, and it sounds like you might have got a bit of a dud. Silicon lottery strikes again!
