I'm looking for ram for my 3770K would the Mushkin Stealth 997069S be good?

Its a alright kit you could do better but 1600MHz isnt the end of the world.

(Not like my 1333MHz anyway)

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Your motherboard matters more when selecting RAM.

RAM is RAM man, it all does the same thing. Ivy's IMC is a bit shotty above a certain point though (2400+).

eh 2700k to 3770k was only a couple months, I still think Sandy is better out of the box, but once a Ivy delids its all ogre.

I love my Sandy, i wanted to upgrade to X99 but after some thought i was just like nah.

Skylake-E will be the time i put the old gal out of business.

But until then we will enjoy our time at 25-45c

My thoughts exactly... So, @xTrixieHD, you should get yourself some triple glazing if you want max performance, but if you're not willing to pay as much, double glazing will still offer reasonable performance at a much more amenable price point. Try to get either vinyl, glass fibre or high quality wood frames, but stay away from aluminium if you want to prevent thermal bridges.

 

Oh sorry, you were talking about memory? Get at least 8GB of 1333Mhz or higher, and if you want to spend a bit more than the bare minimum, pick a set of nice-looking modules that fit your colour scheme.
