What are you going to be doing with this build? If you're just gaming, you could step down the CPU a bit to save money and spend it elsewhere. Also, how much RAM are you getting?

Feel free to message me if you want to chat!

If you're just gaming, step the RAM down to 8Gigs. Also the i7 will be useful if you're video editing but not just 'in a couple of years'. Maybe if gaming leverage hyperthreading more. Also, you need to get hard drives and an OS included in the budget. I reccomend a samsung 840 SSD they're cheap and reliable and fast. You could also grab an HDD for other data.

Sorry forgot about that, I allready have an SSD I'm just planning to transfer it to the new computer once it's build and yes completly forgot about adding an HHD to the list, It got somehow removed from my wishlist so I forgot about it.

But I will just grab a good one based on the pricing and rating at the time im going to buy everything.

Ok I would consider buying an i5 instead of an i7 as it would also save me 100 euros.

What I have seen the GTX 770 performs really well and it doesn't cost a lot of money, But what would you recommend?

There's still upgrades to be had. 780 and what have you. You could also step down the cost of the case too and be on a headstart to SLI 770s or something?

there is a possibility of fitting 780 in this build, but i rather get 770 and PSU that will handle SLI later

Will the TX750M able to run 770 SLI fine? Or do you have any better suggestions?

2 760's in SLI scale very well, and will cost lest than a 780. they will surely handle virtually anything in 1080, though you have not mentioned your monitor/resolution setup.

and im always bias towards budget side of things, so 8350 ftw :D

I need more opinions on this one, Should I go with the 4th generation or just purchase the third generation?

I know Haswell has about 10% better perfomance but also heard they tend to run very hot.

So what should I do 3th or 4th generation, Please state why.

3rd gen i5, you are gaming then the hyper threading on the i7 won't help unless you are video editing/rendering and the like. also, if you think overheating is a problem, you have a noctua fan, if the case you chose has good airflow, you should be fine (especially if you can pick up some Noctua case fans, you will definitely be in the clear :P )

CPU: i7-4770k CPU Cooler: NH-D14 RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb GPU: EVGA Superclocked 780 ti MOBO: ASUS Maximus VI Gene PSU: Corsair RM 850 Case: Bitfenix Prodigy M

Haswell runs almost just as hot as Ivy but they variate a bit more than Ivy on the overclocks.

It's still plain 10% faster than Ivy so you should get it unless it was significantly more expensive.

There's really nothing Ivy has over Haswell except being slightly cheaper.

Allright I might get the 4th generation then, But I see you put the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H in the list of updated parts but I also like the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard and that one will look neat in my case.

Which one do you recommend or are the difference minium that it doesn't really that matter that much?

Both mobos work just fine and will do everything you need.

Can't go wrong with either.
