Hi, I'm building a pc for the first time and I've just started using pc part picker.  Now my problem is that pc part picker says that it would use 309 Watts of my power supply. And For my power supply ( which i've already purchased  and cannot return ) it  is a corsair CX 430. My GPU ( which I haven't purchased yet ) will be an MSI GTX 960 100ME edition. would I need a Better power source? If you want to take a look at all my parts to my build here ya go http://pcpartpicker.com/p/72KNHxPlease give feed back and help project toaster.

the motherboard and cpu combo is kinda odd as in you should have went with a 60 dollar mobo. an i5 4440 and dropped the ssd but oh well too late for that. the power supply should be fine as the 960 has a low tdp

The CX430 is a good PSU, its nice to have a little headroom on your PSU :) you didnt make a bad purchase by any means. How much is your budget?

How about this? Better SSD & case. Also changed the GPU for better matching with the build and in my opinion a better manufacturer. Changed also the RAM to get you dual channel at no price change. You can get your OS here: http://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/for only $15. :)

Dual channel RAM give double the bandwidth of just one stick. Yes you can still upgrade to Windows 10
