LS990 - TWRP Hates Me

Go to solution Solved by techguru,

sometimes what I find works best ..especially when a phone has been messed with alot is to flash the stock rom on the device

then flash the new one

Okay maybe that title is a little melodramatic; but that really feels like what is happening. So I have a ls990 and I had blisspop v 3.5 installed on it but it was giving me some trouble so I attempted to flashback to v 3.3. Here is where I began to run into some trouble. I selected the zip to flash on my SD card and the loading bar just kept going and going and going and going (I assume by now you understand what I mean so I will stop saying "and going"). Either way I pulled the battery and it booted albeit half assed. The UI didn't work, there was no keyboard and I just couldnt get it to do anything useful. I thought it was a problem so I tried to update my TWRP. HERE IS THE WEIRD PART!!!! I have a backup of my phone still with the LG ROM albeit rooted and that restored via TWRP perfectly. WEIRD! So I booted installed the TWRP app on the OS and tried to update the TWRP. Well it didn't like that. It said that it didn't work and offered me to boot into recovery. So I downloaded a TWRP update, stuck that on my SD card and tried to flash the TWRP update. Well it didn't like that either. It said it worked but after I booted it went right into fastboot mode and TWRP disappeared... :'( So I flashed the new version of TWRP via fastboot as I know how to do that and well that worked fine. Since then I've been trying to flash any version of blisspop and that refuses to finish loading, and the restore function continues to work perfectly. So I'm stumped. Any help please?

EDIT: TL;DR: TWRP wont finishing flashing anything

So Idk about the file but i used two seperate SD cards and even changed the internal file system type (about a minute ago) to ext3 instead of ext4 but to no avail. I just finished downloading the ROM again but i really dont think that is the issue. Plus I didnt all of the different wipes like 5 times. Once factory, once everything, once cache and dalvik.....every permutation!

Ah this is really annoying.

Also what do you mean by flashing the stock ROM? I installed a backup which is the stock LG ROM....

Where would I find such a thing? Would a pre-rooted version I found on XDA work?
