I know these are pretty different builds but which should I go with? I will be doing video editing and I kinda like the 3770k because it runs cooler and can easily achieve 4.5 on most chips, plus the 3770k build is a very blue themed build which I like.

Here is the 3770k build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1k0M2

Here is the 4670k build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1jD8R

Is the 3770k build still relevant even though it is last gen

i9 25.6 GHz with NeuronThreading, 256gb 6000 MHz RAM, GTX 990 OC 3024MHz 12gb, Skeletal X99 motherboard, 1 Petabyte SSD, Fractal Design Humaniod R1 Case, Herbivore 10,000W PSU, Noctua NF16 LP Derma Cooler.

Probably the only Star Citizen player who is planning on a career in Journalism instead of piracy, mining, trading, exploration, military, station management, etc.

Generation 0: The first time you see this add 1 to the number and copy it into your sig. Consider it a social experiment.

I would go with the 3770k since you are doing video rendering which will benefit from the 3770k hyper threading feature.

That's tempting as well

EDIT: I went with the 3770k build because it has higher quality parts imo.
