Okay, have my new comp built, have a new router now don't have enough Ethernet cable jacks for all the stuff needing to be hooked to the router; not sure what I can do help would be appreciated.

There are no dumb questions.

You can purchase an inexpensive switch like this one from Netgear:http://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-GS105UK-Gigabit-Unmanaged-Ethernet/dp/B0000E5SEQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434628351&sr=8-1&keywords=netgear+switch&tag=linustechtips-21

This is very cheap and it does gigabit. I hope I answered your question.

multiple options:

1. get some sort of wifi adapter (for your PC)

2. get an ethernet switch

4. unplug one device
