Apple Reports Great iPhone Sales, Mediocre Earnings

Apple has released its fiscal third-quarter earnings report showing an increase in iPhone sales but a continuing mediocrity when it comes to actual earnings. iPhone sales were able to surpass expectations–something that is difficult for most companies right now–and increased from 26 million to 31.2 million iPhones sold.
