Games not using GPU....

Guest
Go to solution Solved by J_DeMan,

Is the display plugged into the Graphics card outputs? (not motherboard ones)

I have a friend, his games aren't using his GPU anymore, the temps don't go up at all anymore when he loads up a game and the fps is from the Intel HD graphics.

Even though this R9 290 Tri-X is plugged in and we overclocked it and everything, the games just aren't using it.

Only possibility. No way can they not be being used at all yet he has something on his screen.

@coolkingler1 Use something like MSI Afterburner to actually get a number a % of how much is being used. No way can it be 0%

check weather the default graphics card is integrated graphics (iGPU) for example in the bios and change to dedicated graphics.
