2. Personally, i have had bad experiences with MSI anbd would recommend the Gigabyte Gaming 7, but its your opinion there M8.

3. You probably Dont need the Optical drive

Like i said, my personal experience, and it has been reflected in Newegg reviews.

 

also i have had very good experience with Gigabytes customer support, and MSI doesnt have the best BIOS and is inconsistent with their updates.

 

again, my experience.

i would get the pg278q or xb270hu since they have gsync while pg278q does not

well my experience with gigabyte has been terrible

3 rma's to get a working product, each taking 3 weeks to get back to me because they made me ship it to them, they took a week then sent me back a faulty product

Yeah, yeah if the brands still exist is because they work, there will always be faulty units, but that doesn't mean they're bad. 

For example in all the builds I've made the most faulty brand was Asus, so what?, I still buy their products too because as said DOA or unexpected faults happen.

 

The mb that the OP chose is OK, nothing wrong with it.

Fans are of good quality I like the speed and cfm along with it being very quiet and is there a better 5ms monitor that's 1440p?

I need the optical drive to install windows 8.1/10 and I replied to rest if there is a better 1440p 27" monitor with 5ms or less I'd be happy to switch
