So my buddy wants to get a new gaming PC. He wants to play the latest triple a titles and some future ones, like starwars battlefront, at 1080p 60fps. Is there a good prebuilt computer, preferably on newegg or amazon that would be good? Price between 500-800?

Short answer, no. With that budget especially for a PRE-BUILT computer won't get you 60 fps on upcoming AAA titles.

Build a custom rig for 800 bucks as that is the best way possible to get what you want, or at least come close to it.

Dell has a few decent ones, if you guys live near a Costco, they get good deals there.

because the 4690k OCed to 4.5 will run all AA titles at 60, while the 4460 will not.

Hell no. Super bad CPU, meh CPU (for what you want to get), and overall mediocre. Just build one yourself or get someone else to do it for you.

what about this PC? From personal experience, my 960 runs battlefield at 1680x1080 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227604&cm_re=gaming_pc_gtx_960-_-83-227-604-_-Product

The FX-8320 is an 8 core processor, but the ocres are not as powerful as an I5's cores. if the game can utilize more than 3 cores it will be gr8, if not... well, yeah.

Please do not buy a prebuilt! Building a PC is not hard or scary. There are many video online and all you need is a screw driver. It's just legos
