RIP Iphone 4s

so i cracked my screen, figured i could replace it myself. I did the swap, turned on my phone, and guess what, the screen is black. i plugged it in to charge and it makes the charging sound about once a minute. the vibrate switch doesn't make it vibrate when i flip it. what did i do?!?

If it connects and detects it, and all is good, you just fucked up replacing the screen.

When you replace the screen, you disconect the vibrator and a lot of the other parts of the phone from the main board.

 

Open it back up and make sure each connector on the logic board clicks into place and is securely put in. 

 

I doubt you killed anything or that the screen is DOA.

 

Just take your time, don't stress and make sure everything is snugly put into its connector.

I did the same thing when i replaced the screen on my 4 not the 4s, turned out i pulled the screen connector to hard and broke it  

do you still have your old screen to test??

well well.... its a good reason to buy a new a new phone. its up to 6s now. so i guess you have missed a lot. hurry up .
