I have a column of cells that contain formulas entered by macros. When I manually add these up (e.g., =I2+I3+I4), it works fine. However, whenever I add them using a function of some kind, like SUMIF, the result is always 0.

Everything is set to the general format and calculations are automatic, etc. etc. Just default settings.

Anyone have any ideas? I need to use SUMIF for this particular calculation.

Edit: Oh and I should add that it works fine for cells that just have normal numbers typed in (e.g., 13 as opposed to SUM(IF,blablabla))

Edit 2: I should also add that changing the format to numbers doesn't work either

waffle waffle waffle on and on and on

This is a bit tough to answer without having the spreadsheet to examine. I note this post is about a month old, were you able to fix it?
