Cpu Benchmarking Question

Go to solution Solved by iamdarkyoshi,

Does task manager display the same thing?

Hi, Not sure this is the correct place to post this, but I tried stress testing my i5 4460 CPU just for fun.

When I ran the testing program, all cores were at 100% usage, except for the first core, which remained around 50.

Why is this?

My only guess would be that this is just overhead the computer leaves, so you can start another task if you want to?

what program did you use to stress the CPU?

Aida64?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Whoa, no it doesn't. Thanks! I guess it was just afterburner being weird. CPU 1 is actually at 100

Actually Afterburner is correct too. The name of the graph is above it, not under.
