Yes.

Is it recommended to run CFX with such a weak CPU? no

Can an AMD A10-7700K run with 2-way crossfire?

Sure, if your motherboard can handle it.

But what GPU's were you thinking about, because your CPU might bottleneck them

2x Asus Radeon R9 290.

That CPU will definitely bottleneck those GPU's, so that's not worth it IMO.

2x Asus Radeon R9 290.

Please don't do that.

That CPU will definitely bottleneck those GPU's, so that's not worth it IMO.

it would bottleneck one of them

So, which CPU do you guys suggest?

for any kind of dual gpu i5 or above. no amd cpu can deal with two r9 290's.

True :P

So, which CPU do you guys suggest?

What is your budget? And is this budget for a CPU + motherboard?

Because I would probably suggest a CPU with a different socket if you want to run dual 290..

I would probably suggest exactly what ZetZet said.

Can't say anything more.

Get the i5 if you want to Overclock and if you want iGPU or get the Xeon if you want hyper threading.

2x Asus Radeon R9 290.

Get a single R9 290 and use a 1440p monitor or bigger. The second GPU wont be used at all, You will just throw away money.
