My old computer (a second hand Alienware Aurora) that I usually only turn on for friends when they come round has stopped booting for some reason. The fans rev up as usual but the lights don't light up and there is no display on the monitor. I tried removing parts such as ram and Gpu to try and force a post code (in the form of beeps) error but it just does the same as normal. I am starting to think the bios has somehow become corrupt but I have no idea. Was hoping someone could help, any ideas are appreciated.

Specs are as follows:

Intel i7 980x

Gtx 480

8 Gb Kingston Hyper X (tripple channel)

2x Veloci Raptor HDD

the rest is either insignificant or stock Alienware

Thanks in advance
