CS:GO taking very long to download

I have been downloading CS:GO since 6:42 PM and it is now 9:50 PM. Its been downloading at about 200 K/BS a second (but its constantly changing) . Is this normal? I'm thinking its because of the Steam summer sale and so many people are downloading games which is slowing down Valve's servers.

Big Game = Big Download.

 

And yes, the Summer Sale, may be affecting.

Nope. I have 60 M/bs per second download speed.

What's your internet speed? If you don't know, you can check here.

The game is not that big. Its only 5 GB's.

Make sure you have the right server selected, and close any other processes like uTorrent or chrome.

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Then just wait? The summer sale is definitely the reason why.

Ummm.... That is big. Anything over a gig is considered big.

 

And yeh I know that some games are 50 GB, but those are terribly compressed.
