Theres a sale on processors and motherboard bundles right now at microcenter.

Im looking at the i7 4790k and RoG Maximus Hero

280 USD for the processor and 180 for the Hero. I have the money to spend, should i get it?

I would go with a cheaper motherboard and Xeon E3-1231V3 However if you have enough money and you really want to get it, you cant go wrong. I just think it is to much money for that.

Yep. It's worth it even if you don't have the money. Definitely worth using that credit card for getting good credit to buy more stuff.

Definitely worth the tiny amount to pay from the Xeon your suggesting.

I'm assuming he's just getting the i7 because there's a deal, not because he actually needs the HT, so an i5 4690k would still be a better option.
