Help. Computer just randomly shutdown

Ok so my computer just randomly shut down and when I restart fans don't spin but leds work no boot gpu powered. I turned off psu for a bit turned on again booted got into windows opened chrome shut down. Is it bad psu? Please help

look at windows event viewer

it will tell you why it shut down

How do I get there? I can't boot and when it does its for a minute enough to get to desktop

Both fine and watercooled

Both fine and watercooled

 

Watercooled doesn't mean you are getting good temperatures, air bubbles, blockages, pump not working correctly, bad mounting, air pockets in the thermal compound.  Open the bios and see what temps are being displayed.

I can't.

 

You just said you could get it booted for a minute.  That is plenty of time to check the bios.  The bios is way before loading the desktop.

Remove your graphics card, and plug your monitor into the onboard graphics.

nothing is overclocked, there is a storm happening, also 2 days ago there was a power surge and my pc fluxuated. PC hasn't rebooted i'm still stable

well usually kernel power is related to motherboard or PSU

I would wait for it to happen again and if it does try replacing your PSU

I would get a blue screen and kerrnel power event 41 in event viewer,  this fixed my pc.  2 yrs I've been asking the same question as you.  This crap video fixed it...

I don't know what step helped me but I did them all and 3 days of hard gaming and testing w/o a problem.  I would blue screen and pull a event 41 every time I'ed game w/ vsync off...  This fixed it...
