Thinking of buying BF:BC2 on sale today. 

 

I here the game is p much dead though.

 

Isn't there that mod that people play still?

 

Anyone know anything about that?

 

Because I won't buy it if there's no real playerbase. (if the mod has a decently sized one I'll consider it)

NO. There are about five or six servers that are always full, and as much as I hate to admit it, that seems kind of "dead," but the game still very much lives on.

It's not played a lot anymore. There are still servers which run the popular maps/gamemodes so it's definitely playable still but personally I wouldn't recommend buying it anymore.

Yea games like bf3 are great since they gave it out for free and did the humble bundle so there are tons of baddies to kill :)
