Browsing Laptop

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but theres no laptop section.

 

Need a laptop nothing extreme no need for a gpu its just for browsing nothing else. It´s not for me so specs aren´t really important but nothing less than 8gb ram and an i5 dual or anything ecualivent. Budget is 500 usd if theres anything good for max 50 usd more thats ok but I just need tips.. Thanks

If it's strictly browsing... why not a Chromebook? They're literally designed for web browsing and productivity.

Yep! Why do you need 8GB ram for web browsing? Do you really use 50 tabs?

Only Thinkpad you could get for <$500 is an E4** which come with AMD A10-7300 or FX-7500. And yeah, Google Docs or Chrome apps.

he can get an thinkpad e550 if he stretches a little an upgrade ram then.

I would get a surface, but that's just me. Or boost the budget a little up to ux305 and have one of the sexiest notebooks ever made for the price.

try a chromebook, dont know a particular name, but a chromebook is very good for your purpose
