Boxed or Steam Version?

Go to solution Solved by AlwaysFSX,

Steam version is the same thing, no real downsides to it.

I've been felling a bit of nostalgia lately, and figured I'd get Battlefront 2. Since I'll be getting it for pc, I've been wondering if I should get the boxed version, or the steam version. Is there any difference?

While we're here, go ahead and post how you like to buy games.

Hey just a bit of note, unless they reformatted the game to run better with windows 8/8.1 its kinda a bitch to start sometimes. Need to put it into xp compatibility mode. But hey it does have a 1080p mode and it has aged extremely well.
