Looking for a budget webcam

Ivyk

I want to buy a webcam for my YouTube channel.

The thing I'm unsure about is whether or not 720p is good enough. I plan on having my face in a corner of the screen.

I'd probably make it about 500 pixels wide.

I don't care about the quality of the microphone because I won't we using it anyways.

I just want it to be clear and fast enough without it being annoying crappy quality.

Location: The Netherlands.

Budget: 50/60 USD.

Current rig: CPU: AMD FX-8120  Cooling: Corsair H100i  Mobo: ASRock 970 Extreme 3  RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz  GPU: MSI GTX 660Ti Power Edition  Case: Fractal Design Define R4  Storage: 2TB Seagate HDD + 128GB Crucial SSD  PSU: be quiet! 730W bronze

I'd agree with @RZeroX, I've got one myself and it's a great piece of kit! Probably one of the best Webcams on the market, actually. It can record at 1920x1080 using a H.264 Encoder, would certainly recommend this! Make sure you do some looking around so you can get the best price, too!

It's available on Amazon.com, but for some reason not on Amazon.nl: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Webcam-Widescreen-Calling-Recording/dp/B006JH8T3S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1434024159&sr=8-1&keywords=Logitech+C920&pebp=1434024346760&perid=2E17716375F34123A1FA

Here's a review that Jerry (Barnacules Nerdgasm) did a few years back...

EDIT: Do make sure you do some looking around, I'm sure you can find them between $50-$60...

EDIT: If the C920 really does go out of budget and you can't find any within $60, then maybe consider the C615: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004YW7WCY/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i5?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=0SNW6WCD7HES5BHH49Y8&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop

It costs €80 in a local store but I have €35 worth of vouchers so it will only cost me 45 bucks or so.

In that case, if you have 45 Euros laying around then I strongly suggest you purchase it. It's the best Webcam I've come across for such a price!
