Is a 12 hour stress test enough?

Is a 12 hour use of aida 64 with everything checked enough to find flaws in hardware/

i see always ppl do it for 24h is the best idea but 12h can do the job great

yeah thats long enough imo, bust most people go for a full 24

My old system was fine after 10 minutes of stress test  :ph34r:

Hell when mildly overclocking I never even do stress tests.

 

And I always do only mild overclocks, so never did a stress test :P never had a problem

Not sure.... if you do something above mild overclocks just stress test.

I only stress test until the temperatures are stable, usually around 30 min.

Synthetic stress tests shouldn't be the only thing you run - you should also be running real world tasks on the system to simulate what it would REALLY go through.
