Ok, i need help here guys, im worried about one of my Galax HOF 980 reaching 90 degrees celsius (even 94 in rare ocasions) when gaming in full load.

I got an SLI of them, and they are really close from each other, i though that was the problem, but when i tried decreasing the clock (to 1.200 the default is 1300 and 1400 with boost link to afterburner configuration) the temps stayed exactly the same.. The fans are set to be at 90% when the temps reach 80 degrees. as you can see the temp from the top card in idle is 65 and the bottom one is 45.

(sorry for the bad english and really ugly format, im in a hurry)

http://imgur.com/a/wDTrl<- these are the photos of the pc, the bottom and front fans are all set to maximum for better air flow, the cards got 3 fans and are made from top quality materials, the bottom card usually got 60-70 at full load, the ambient temperature is not that high, 25 degrees celsius i think 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

Should i be worried about this? (90 degrees in one card) if yes how can i fix it? the motherboard only allows me to use the cards in these positions. All the components are new. :(

Mang that's a sexy PC.

Kinda looks like the bottom one is suffocating the top one.

And since you can't change them...

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

You're probably gonna have  to turn the top card to 100%, or get a smaller case with better air-flow directed at the GPU's.

Is your radiator an exhaust?

Angle a fan to aim at the top one from the bottom it will give you some better temps, I did this to a dual gpu system and with a sp fan and it dropped it a few degrees but nothing major, thats what happens when you sli or crossfire with non stock cards

My 980 reference sits at around 40C idle / 70C 100% load with a decent overclock. I think you should've probably opted for reference designs for stacking GPUs due to the blower design. Or consider a Kraken G10 / Corsair HG10

Man i have no ideia, the radiator from the water coller is moving taking air from the case and (omg i dont know the words in english hope you understand) moving it to outside, the graphics card fans take air from the bottom and move it up, i cant afford a new case ://

guys, if i cant reduce the temps, do you think its going to do any harm to my card?

I'd recommend flipping your radiator so the tubes are near the ram, and getting an exhaust fan in the rear.

I think your biggest problem is not getting the hot air out of the case fast enough, and a lot of hot air is getting stuck around the GPU area.

Try opening your side-panel, and running a game for 15 mins. Then tell us what the temps get to.
