In a few hours, I'm going to be taking my laptop (Thinkpad Yoga 2nd Gen) into the Microsoft Store where I got it because there are various problems that I am having with the screen, such as a nick, some small scratches, the backlight is bleeding in middle of the screen in two spots, and ghosting (and I just got this computer last August). Should I take any precautions to make sure that they don't delete or get into my files and website accounts? I don't know if they are going to take my computer from me for some time to try and repair it, or if they are going to just give me a new computer. What has happened if you have had similar problems such as this?

Sorry if this is the wrong places for this question. Move it if it's not.

Microsoft says to Backup all your stuff before. Expect a new system given or a refurbished one (if under warranty and outside of the return period and warranty coverage).

He is right, when you have a computer you should always have a backup of your data if it is important to you.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
