Ethernet connection over 100 meter?

Hello, I'm trying to secure my house but I have a small problem. This is a plan of my situation that I'm in.

post-224778-0-47300800-1433858263.png

I'm installing camera's arround the house, but I want to have 1 camera way off to the gate. The only problem is PoE won't reach that far and with a normal ethernet cable isn't it possible either because of the distance, it's around 100 meters or more because of the big pond in front of the house. Is there a way to do it wireless? and how should I handle it if I want to do it wireless?
Or do you guys have any other advice for me?

Wireless probably no chance :/

One way is to get a system that runs via USB and use that Corning USB Fiberoptic cable Linus reviewed once.

That time I saved Linus' WiFi pass from appearing on YouTube:

from your post i understand there's no power bij de ingang :P (otherwise you could use a poe injector)

otherwise it could be worth it to get a camera with a better zoom and place it at like 90 meters to be sure

except for the bit where 100m is 3x the length of that cable.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

IMPERIAL, Y U EXIST >_<

Still, there should be a fiber optic solution at that length.

Fiber doesn't have any restrictions in terms of length.

Ethernet can travel up to 300meters until it becomes choppy. You can run a power connector from the camera to an outlet, or have it battery powered (less efficient, but still an option)

Third option would be to to run a direct power line to it, and have an outlet there, but could be costly.

PoE doesn't go that far either, that's why that isn't a possibility either xs

so If the switch that I connect the camera to in house is a PoE switch, to deliver extra juice through the cable ,and I use a cat 6 cable it should be fine you think?

with a very low powered camera it will although there are solutions

a quick google showed me this: http://www.veracityglobal.com/products/ethernet-and-poe-devices/outreach-max.aspx

with this or a similar product you should be able to reach your camera with ease
