500$ pc

I am looking for a pre-built desktop. The main stipulations are that it should be around 500$, have good sound, and MUST come with windows 7, preferably no bloatware.

BUILD ONE!

so much more worth your hard earned money in terms of performance/dollar - that doesnt just apply to gaming.

I'm helping out someone who is not super tech savy. They don't know how to build one.

let them learn or teach them, dont let them waste money on some prebuilt trash

being a part of the glorious PCMR includes learning and making sure you do your research.

This isn't for play but for business. They don't have the time to deal with troubleshooting a DUI Pc.

there is no troubleshooting, pc's take very little time to build even for first timers. as i said, a little bit of research and youre set to go.

Guys get the hell out with your "BUILD BUILD BUILD BUILD A PC" comments. Not everyone's a gamer, he doesn't need to smash fps numbers. He needs pre-built.

Here's some good recommendations:

As for sound, get a good sound interface, ex: Focusrite Scarlett.

Honestly, just build one for like $300 - $400 and spend the rest on an audio interface.

Of course if he would like to spend his whole budget on a prebuilt PC, go ahead and get a HP.

Though building a PC is not as hard as he thinks...
