dvd depends on the speed of your cd drive. i would say you would spend the majority of the day installing it.

How much time GTA V takes to install over the PC avg.?

Disks write slowly, so on a disk it would probably take about 8-9 hours. but if you have a fancy high RPM drive, it will be less than that

go ahead and start. sadly you cant just leave it because theirs 7 disks that you need to switch it out. i would say you would be done by say 4 or 5

the 60GB download took me 12h but thats difirent and mi install is also fsr broken and i dont know why and what is

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

It took me 5hours to download GTA V off steam, less fuss than discs for me :P

whats your download speed? mines about 60 down. took me about 4 hrs i believe but i left it on over night

whats your download speed? mines about 60 down. took me about 4 hrs i believe but i left it on over night 

 

I get about 50down when I'm lucky, but it depends on Servers. Steam has a server close to me so that helps me a lot. It took me 14hours to download Star Citizen which is only about 1/2 the size at 26GB, but doesn't have a local server.

Guys, I am not downloading. I have DVD with me. I bought it from the Online Store and they shipped the DVDs at my home.

I would say, Wait for some hours. I will be posting my setup tomorrow in the noon. It's mid night here so I won't be able to open much lights as parents are sleeping.

It only takes me 2 hours to download GTAV... disks are silly for me.

After download you must have installed also?

 

Well, I am only concerned about the installation.

 

I am at the 6th Disk and it's 2.43 AM here. (I started at around 11.50 PM or 12 AM)

It took me 2.5 hrs to download it. I get around 75 - 90 Mbps.

PC Specs   - Black and White Build

    Intel Core i5 4690k MSI Z97S Krait LGA 1150

    Crucial Ballistix Sport 1x8GB 1600MHZ

    Sapphire Radeon R9 270 (Will be upgrading this soon)

Well, It's is downloading updates. First it downloaded 5 GB update and now it's downloading 400 MB around update. How many more updates left?
