Passive mode GTA 5?

I've gotten killed when I do missions for Simeon in GTA 5 and it's really annoying. Anyway, how do I turn on passive mode?

on a controler hold the back button and it will pop open a thing letting you select various options...I think its the back button at least.

You should be able to do it from the Quick Menu.

 

Warning: Doesn't save you from car kills though :/

Should be in the same menu that you eat snacks from

Press M to open the quick menu, and just scroll down until you find it.
