Hey!

Since yesterday my computer has been randomly shutting down while playing CS GO.

The computer doesnt crash while playing league of legends or dota 2 for example.

I've been reading some forums about this problem, but i havent found an awnser yet.

I dont believe its temperature problems.

Here's what i have;

An H440 with a Corsair H100i for the i5 4690k @ Stock

GTX 970

8 GB HyperX

60 GB Kingston SSD (with OS)

1 TB Barracuda(I think), HDD storage

CX650M PSU

MB MSI Gaming 5

On HWMonitor the graphic never exceeds 50ºC

On HWMonitor the i5 never exceeds 65ºC

Used some disk defrag programs and cleaners,antivirus yesterday.

Also tried reinstalling the game, worked fine 2 games after, but today it shut down 3 times in 5 minutes.

It isnt a sudden shut down tho, the sound kind of crashes and stutters, screen goes all black, then  it restarts.

Also if it matters its usually around 30ºC Ambient temperature nowadays.

Note: The computer is roughly 2 months old.

On last thing, bought a new monitor 2 days ago(kinda matches the start of the problems), BenQ XL2411Z, connected with the DVI-D Cable that came with it.

Appreciate any help, thanks!

If you are talking about how the screen goes black, i have been having the same issue. It doesnt crash for me, but it forces me to restart my computer. I thought it was my GPU overclock, but it's only happening with CS:GO. I think it may be the update they did, but I do not know for sure. I am still trying to fix it. When i do, I'll post.

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 3.2GHz || GPU:(first release,used) MSI R9 270 OC || Motherboard:MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard || RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 || Monitors: Vizio 22 in Ultra slim 1080p TV || Storage: Seagate barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM,(REFURB) 1TB toshiba 7200RPM || PSU: (stripped from 2013 CAD PC)Corsair CX600 build was under $420
