I have assembled new secondary system for gaming, but I am experiencing weird FPS fluctuation in CS:GO which jumps from 300 to 15+ every few seconds.

I tried reseating GPU/RAM, reinstalling OS, tweaking nvidia 3D settings, editing registry but it still won't fix the problem.

Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

Is it just CS:GO? or is it any other games?

Also what storage are you using?

Updated first post with more games.

I am using, Kingston v300 120GB for OS & WD Blue 1TB for Storage

maybe your 660ti is dieing? tbh the 600 series is starting to really show its age.

I think the 660ti is starting to age on you.

My 960 which I think is only somewhat better than the 660ti never drops below 40 on CSGO with everything whatso-ever turned up, and this is with an i3 2130, be mind you.

Actually I was using this 660ti on my main system until just a few days ago because I got myself a 970. It was working fine without problem.
