4960x a letdown?

From what I can see so far, it's been somewhat of a letdown, and after seeing linus talk about it as well it appears to be so. 

 

 

What are you disappointed in about it?

 

Do you think intel will change it up a bit?

 

 

 

I was sorta expecting a little bit more than a 5-10% increase, I figured the extreme edition CPU's would have a bigger performance gap. But I guess not lol
