X99A has USB 3.1, X99S does not. That's the only difference I can see.

Hello, i just ordered the MSI X99S Sli Plus motherboard, but i see they have the exact same motherboard, just X99A ( slightly cheaper )

 

What are the difference between X99S and the X99A ?

X99A has USB 3.1 So its nothing really to worry about.

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

I think the X99A has USB 3.1

 

 

USB 3.1 on the A.

 

 

X99A has USB 3.1 So its nothing really to worry about.

 

 

X99A has USB 3.1, X99S does not. That's the only difference I can see.

That is the only difference with the MSI boards. The A should be more expensive, s if it is cheaper, you should pick up that.
