they are a large international corporation that has invested more than a few hundred grand into developing their prodcuts

 

To be fair, they probably only put about 50k into making a case. Doesn't take away from the blatant image copying though.

for one case maybe, but R&D is accumulated throughout the entire life of a company, and fractal design is worth millions

so even though one case maybe cost $50k, it cost way more than that for everything else they have produced that led up to that case

 

$50k is less than one year of salary for a single employee

now image what a company with dozens of employees and around for decades
