My friend is going to start a YouTube channel soon and I made this intro video for him. It's not the final version but it's what he's looking for. I just got into the whole After Effects scene so it would be greatly appreciated if you gave me feedback on it. 

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

Oh wait I can't play any of the "games people wanna watch" because I have a measly Intel HD 4600...I hate myself for spending $1000 on peripherals instead of a new computer

Looks great what software are you using.

Adobe After Effects CS6

 

Looks cool, kinda tired of the whole "call of duty banger boom boom fast glitchy mountain dew" intros you know? I did like the beginning with the shadows and flat style is neato.

Can you link one :D and thanks, got the inspiration from the look of Android L

How do you spend $1k on peripherals?

1 monitor can cost that much but. monitor, keyboard,mouse, perhaps speakers or headset. It adds up

Can you please direct @Barnacules? I love his video's, but his intro just......it sucks. It sucks in every way imaginable and some ways I didn't think were imaginable.

 

OP, that looks good other than the gratuitous use of the color blue, which I hate.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
