Another PC build please :)

I'd like a 900$ gaming pc with windows and I prefer nvidia and intel. Keyboard and monitor included :( I know its not much :(!

looks like a good build. you could probably go with i5-4460, lose the hyper 212 and go with a stock cooler, and buy a H97 mobo and save enough for windows. Or you could get a 970.

You are better off with a 960, a 4690k and an SSD, but he needs Windows

the 4690k isnt needed unless he wants to O/C. the performance gains for gaming are minimal when you are comparying i5-k+960 vs i5+970.

that would help too.

the 4690k isnt needed unless he wants to O/C. the performance gains for gaming are minimal when you are comparying i5-k+960 vs i5+970.

I have the 4690k OCed to 4.5, i gained 10 FPS in most games from when i didnt OC

Haha ur build is bad, absolutely bad parts u moron, what overclocking will you get out of that shit mobo? GTX 960 is a waste as it only has 2GB RAM, he said the build is supposed to be at $900 not 978, retarded PSU choice too m8

1. true, but he said gaming (assuming 1080p w/ his budget)

2. yes, but the 970 will be "future proofing" his system for an extra two years or so.

3. because a pentium is a dual core, which is being phased out of most games. i3 could work nicely, but an i3 to i5 will have a nice performance gain for the added cost. more so than a i5 to i5k
