Define r4 vs h440

Have a good deal for define r4 from reseller now new unit for about 90 dollar.

h440 is about 130 dollars.

Which is more worth it and which is better for custom water cooling

I prefer the H440 because of it's amazing looks, the build quality is nice though(except the window scratches really easily).

But it's kinda personal opinion, they're both great cases quality wise.

Fractal r4 is better IMO. Better airflow... I threw in another fractal r2 case fan in and I get amazing airflow... .

the difference in 40 bucks really pushing me to r4 side but h440 have a higher rating overall by users.

I'd choose neither for custom water cooling though. I'd pick the phantek entho. The reason is because with my fractal r4 it'd be hard to fit a res unless I used a bay res which takes up both 3.5in drive bays. And I'm not a fan of the h440 airflow unless you get a ton of fans. I'm a huge fan of the psu shroud on the h440, but the phantek has one too.

is it the phanteks enthoo pro? Cause I'm planning to upgrade to custom water cooling in the future. Which ofc I will not like to change my case again. Changing it now probably just because r4 have a great deal.

h440 is lovely but the price is just way to high for it. Fractal design have higher price range too.

For a custom loop it'll be soooo much better than either the r4 or h440...

Probably you cant go wrong with either. I have an R4 i love to work in it, its solid, its silent and it looks good.

If you do a custom water loop go for the phantek, but if you don't r4 all the way.

Well, I can't talk about the r4, I personally like the aesthetics on the H440 better, and one of the things that made me change tower (Zalmann z11) was that I got bored of it. 

 

The build quality is awesome, the 4 included fans are great, the softouch coating on all the panels is just mesmerizing (I literally find myself touching it ).

 

So you decide, I can't really tell you what to get, i just tell you what I got (and I could have gotten the r4 myself but didnt).
