Any laptops with good sound?

orangecat

I've never seen a laptop with legitimately good sounding audio. My HD 518's just sitting on my desk sound better than 90% of laptops I've ever heard. I know some have "subwoofers" but that doesn't necessarily mean it sounds any better.

I think my 6+ year old Alienware m17x R1 has great audio for its ago even better the what modern day laptops have for audio.

didn't asus just make something with a cover that pops out and does 5.1

but yeah.... its so subjective. I'd only place devices such as these to be on the shitty to acceptable part of the spectrum.

I mean, macbook pros tend to have very decent audio in the 15" or 17" form factor. Otherwise, Linus said the newest razer blade 14" had good audio for what it is.

It depends and also hopefully it won't be that much effective.

What does that even mean? "It won't be much effective"?
